An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a well-regarded principal contractor and property developer as a Health and Safety Advisor. The organisation has a turnover of over €40 million and are looking at expanding the health and safety team due to company growth. This role will suit an individual who is looking to grow and develop with a forward-thinking construction company.

Responsibilities for the Health, Safety, Quality, and Environmental Advisor will

include:

• Visiting site and engaging with site managers, ensuring responsibilities are clear and answering technical Health and Safety related enquires.

• Implementing health and safety policies and procedures on site, ensuring compliance and keeping updated with key changes to legislation.

• Conducting audits and inspections. Constantly seeking areas for improvement and development in health and safety performance

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate with a broad range of stakeholders

• Assist with training, toolbox talks, inductions and investigating incidents where required

The successful Health & Safety Advisor will have:

  • Experience in a similar role from within construction or civil engineering
  • Ideally from a trades based background
  • Hold a Safety Qualification – NEBOSH, IOSH, CIF or similar.
  • Good organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities

A Driver's license is essential.
