Health and Safety Advisor (12 Month FTC)
Location: London
Salary: Circa £44,000 + Benefits

Irwin and Colton have been appointed by a prestigious further education institution to provide support in their Health and Safety operations. The institution is widely regarded as one of the leading further education establishments in the UK.

Responsibilities of the Health and Safety Advisor will include:

• Conducting audits, tours, and unannounced inspections to ensure compliance with current health and safety policies and practices.
• Implementing safety measures, conduct inspections, and promote a culture of health and safety awareness across the institution.
• Staying updated with changes in legislation and best practices, ensuring continuous compliance and embodiment of health and safety best practices.
• Contribute to the development and refinement of health and safety policies, procedures, and systems.

The successful Health and Safety Advisor will have:

• NEBOSH General certificate
• Proven Health and Safety experience ideally within higher education or property
• Excellent communication skills both verbally and written
• Experience of managing a diverse range of stakeholders
