What can you expect in this role?

  • Lead and develop the Group health and safety strategy and associated delivery plan.
  • Take charge of hazard analysis, risk assessments, and oversee major projects with strategic leadership.
  • Work closely with business management teams to guide and coach in the implementation of the strategy and local plans and in all aspect of safety leadership and performance.
  • Develop and implement a variety of performance measures to identify trends and improve safety, health and wellbeing performance.
  • Inspire and manage a motivated team, ensuring high morale while overseeing three direct reports.

What We're Looking For:

  • Industry Experience: Experience in Warehousing/Logistics/Distribution environments is ideal.
  • Professional Qualifications: NEBOSH Diploma and IOSH membership is beneficial.
  • Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of health and safety legislation.
  • Positive Attitude: Passionate, proactive, and enthusiastic about health and safety.
