Job Description:
Hays Education are currently looking for a dynamic and passionate Maths teacher to join the team at a Ofsted rated ‘Good' Secondary school in Ealing. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing the Maths curriculum at KS3-4 in the classroom, as well as leading on extra-curricular Maths activities such as school productions, concerts, choirs, and other ensembles.
This school would consider part time applicants for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver engaging and challenging Maths lessons to students at KS3-4.
- Lead on extra-curricular Maths activities, including school productions, concerts, choirs, and other ensembles.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback and support as required.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop and implement the Maths curriculum.
- Participate in school events and activities as required.
Essential Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience of teaching Maths at KS3-4.
- A passion for Maths and a commitment to inspiring students.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues.
Desirable Requirements:
- Experience of leading extra-curricular Maths activities.
- Experience of contributing to Maths at a secondary level.
