Irwin and Colton has been engaged by leading consultancy within the UK, who are looking to bring on board a new Health and Safety Consultant to work closely with one of their largest technology clients, who have led across the tech industry for a number of years, with huge market presence across retail products, music, and now television. The role would be predominately embedded with this client circa 50% of the working week across their corporate offices, and the remainder supporting other tech clients on the organisation's client portfolio.

This role will work closely with the wider team day-day, and report into the EHS Director.

Responsibilities for the Health and Safety Consultant will include:

• Supporting on implementing health and safety policies and procedures and ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation, aligning to client expectations
• Assessing and maintaining relevant Iso-management systems, especially 45001 and 14001
• Working closely with the client's internal staff, as well as the facilities team to ensure best health and safety practice across the organisation
• Undertaking audits and inspections of the site, identifying areas for improvement, and reporting on the findings

The successful Health and Safety Consultant will have:

• NEBOSH general certificate (or equivalent) and relevant membership of professional body (e.g. Technical member of IOSH)
• Proven experience in a similar role within the wider corporate property/facilities market; ideally within commercial offices, retail, or tech
• Excellent communications skills with proven experience engaging a wide range of stakeholders in a corporate environment
