Newlon Housing Trust is a successful charitable housing association and one of the major providers of new affordable housing in north and east London.

We are looking for an experienced individual to join our Building Services team and oversee the Domestic, Commercial Heating function on behalf of the Newlon Group.

You will ensure that all properties are compliant with all statutory and regulatory requirements and have heating and hot water at all times. You will also manage all domestic, commercial and ESCO heating stakeholders and customer enquiries and manage the day-today heating services contracts and records. Providing efficient and effective planning, administrative and technical support as and when required, will also form part of your role.

With a Level 2/4 Gas Safety Management in Social Housing, or equivalent, and a City & Guilds or HNC in Building Services Engineering, or be working towards, you will have extensive knowledge of Domestic Heating within Social Housing and proven experience in a similar role in asset compliance or health and safety. You will hold a Health & Safety or relevant qualification (e.g. NEBOSH or IOSH) and ideally have membership of a relevant professional body (e.g. RICS, CIOB, RIBA, CIBSE). Good customer service skills are also required.

In return, you can expect 27 days holiday, a non-contributory pension, excellent benefits and a flexi scheme.  We currently offer the opportunity to work up to 2 days at home (depending on the role).  However there will be a requirement for you to work from our head office during your probationary period.  You’ll also be working out of purpose-built offices that form part of the award-winning Hale Village regeneration project, and are situated just two minutes’ walk from the major transport interchange at Tottenham Hale.
