Location: Derby, with Regional site travel
Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 plus company car and excellent benefits

We've been engaged by one of the leading integrated waste management companies in the UK to recruit a Health, Safety and Environment Coordinator. The role is focused on promoting a positive health and safety culture and to improve health and safety performance across the company. This is a regional role covering multiple sites with the main office based in the Derbyshire area.

Responsibilities of the Health, Safety and Environment Coordinator will include:

• Promoting a positive Health and Safety culture across the sites, seeking best practice at every opportunity
• Supporting site teams to help them meet company standards and procedures
• Regularly visiting sites, auditing health and safety performance
• Involved in the development and delivery of health and safety training to employees across the business

The successful Health, Safety and Environment Coordinator will have:

• NEBOSH Certificate/equivalent qualification (Desirable)
• Excellent organisational skills
• A keen eye for detail with the ability to work independently or as part of a team is essential
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
