Interim Health and Safety Manager
Location: Norwich
£375 per day (Outside IR35)

We have been engaged by a specialist environmental services and facilities management organisation, to bring onboard an Interim Health and Safety Manager. This role will ensure that the company is maintaining its compliance in line with current legislation, whilst also assessing opportunities for improvement. The organisation specialises in a range of services including building management.

This role will primarily focus on working with key internal stakeholders across the business, to raise the level of health and safety performance. As well as, conducting a GAP analysis of its current systems and procedures to allow the business to continuously improve.

Responsibilities of the Interim Health and Safety Manager will include:

• Engaging with stakeholders across the organisation to assist and drive a positive culture
• Investigating incidents and implementing corrective actions to drive performance improvements
• Managing across the wider team in the development and delivery of the strategy, identifying opportunities to enhance the effectiveness of the health and safety function internally and externally
• Overseeing administrative tasks and collection of data once tasks have been completed and revealing the findings to improve performance

The successful Interim Health and Safety Manager will have:

• NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent) and relevant IOSH membership
• Proven experience in a similar health and safety role; ideally Property / hard Facilities Management; supporting the drive on change across an organisation
• Ideally experience of ISO Management systems
• A pragmatic approach to safety and the ability to engage and communicate with a wide range of stakeholders
