HSE Recruitment Network are currently representing this particular FMCG Food Manufacturing organisation who specialise in food manufacturing, and are seeking a strong Health, Safety and Environment Advisor to work on a single site near Devizes.
Role: HSE Advisor - Health, Safety and Environment Advisor
Location: Devizes, Wiltshire
Salary : £38,000 - £42,000 per annum, plus package
Seeking a strong professional who will be passionate and engaging in their approach. Able to support the HSE function, manage change, develop procedures, and deliver an effective and positive culture and behavioural change programme.
Main Responsibilities:
Ensure that the requirements of all relevant HSE legislation are followed and implemented, and that the Business complies with corporate and legal requirements at all times.
Ensure a positive and constructive HSE culture is prevalent throughout the Business.
Deliver continuous improvement in Health, Safety and Environment standards and practices year on year.
Deliver; machinery guarding, Safe Systems of work, Risk Assessments, Internal audits, Training, KPI’s, holding H&S committee meetings, reporting stats; near misses, incident and accident investigation
Essential Experience, Training and Qualifications:
• Manufacturing experience, ideally with prior food manufacturing experience and 24/7 manufacturing experience
• NEBOSH certificate or equivalent
Ideal Personality Traits:-
• Self-motivated and engaging with gravitas
• Adaptive thinker
• Able to influence, gain buy -in with strong communication skills
