Junior Health and Safety Consultant

HSE Recruitment are currently exclusively working with a successful and growing safety, HR and compliance consultancy on the recruitment of a Junior Health and Safety Consultant. This role is offered on a permanent basis and would be based from their office in Leicester, with travel to client sites in the area.

As a Junior Health and Safety consultant our client is looking for a fresh up and comer, with passion for the industry and drive to develop and learn. As a result they are happy to take someone at the very start of their career (with minimal experience and no qualifications) up to someone at circa advisor level. Our client work across multiple sectors so any sector background will be considered, what is most important is looking for the right personality and approach to fit with the style of our client. You will need to be engaging and personable, able to pick things up quickly and with an aptitude for building relationships with people. Initially this role will be mostly desk-based, supporting and being mentored by a senior Consultant. A full development plan will be offered to the successful candidate, working up to the acquisition of either NEBOSH Diploma or NVQ L6.

If you are NEBOSH Certificate qualified, or on our journey to qualification, and have a passionate, engaged and driven approach to learning, this could be the role for you. We are looking for candidates ideally with some experience in Health and Safety across sectors, and someone with the ability to understand client concerns and have some commercial understanding and approach. Those from a sales background or similar would be an advantage.
