Your new role
In your new role you will be responsible for the provision of Health, Safety and Fire advice, support, monitoring and reporting of the site.

Key responsibilities:

• To advise, monitor and report on the presence and quality of relevant H&S documentation within the establishment such as risk assessments, including fire RA, Covid-19 assessments, COSHH assessments, food safety inspections, inductions and the extent to which they are effectively implemented and achieve suitable levels of control.
• To engage actively with the managers, processes and forums with significant impact on HSF risk such as: violence reduction strategy groups, safer custody groups, staff rostering programs, adjudication activity, attendance management, offender management.

What you'll need to succeed
You will need to have a NEBOSH General Certificate and a membership of IOSH ( at least TechIOSH). You will also need some Fire Qualifications or working towards. In addition, you must pass Prison Service vetting.
