A thriving civil engineering contractor is seeking a Head of Safety to oversee their function across the UK. This prominent role will have oversight of a team of Advisors and be tasked with providing a high class EHS support and delivery function.

The Head of Safety will be responsible for:
- Developing a positive, proactive safety culture across the business unit
- Working across a diverse range of projects within the utilities sector including ongoing maintenance, capital programmes and remedial works
- Helping to embed a cultural change programme alongside the senior safety leadership team
- This role will require travel throughout the Midlands, North of England and the South West. There is a degree of flexible working, however, candidates should be comfortable with travel

The *Enter Job Title* will have:
- Significant senor safety management experience across a utility discipline (water, gas, power, energy)
- Whilst, CMIOSH is preferred, candidates working towards will be considered
- Proactive and able to forge excellent stakeholder relationships internally and externally
- Prior experience of having a significant impact on a company's safety culture
