We are engaged with a large distribution company to appoint a Heath & Safety and Food Safety Manager. Working closely with the company operations team, this role presents the opportunity to create a totally new health & safety and food safety compliance audit system for the site.

The Health & Safety and Food Safety Manager will be responsible for:

Carrying out food safety, fire safety and health & safety compliance audits across the site under your responsibility.
Being the main point of contact for external audits - food standards, BRC etc.
Ensuring all operatives are trained appropriately for their roles.
Creating a new, bespoke health & safety, food safety and fire safety management system for the site.

The Health & Safety and Food Safety Manager will have:

NEBOSH General Certificate.
Food safety experience desirable
HACCP qualification desirable.
Previous experience in a Health & Safety role within a distribution or closely related environment.
