Manchester - Home based with regional travel

We are currently working with an established Health and Safety Consultancy who are looking for a Health and Safety Consultant to join their team in a regional role. This home-based role will see you covering client sites in Manchester and surrounding areas, offering Health and Safety services to mainly SME businesses. Consultancy offerings will include Risk Assessments, Fire Risk Assessments, auditing and training, ensuring a high level of service is delivered to clients.
The Health and Safety Consultant will be responsible for:
- Delivering Health and Safety services including Risk Assessments, Fire Risk Assessments, auditing and training
- Conduct gap analyses of client sites and implement necessary safety procedures
- Delivering a high level of service to clients and delivering reports to clients
- Travel regionally to a range of clients across Manchester and surrounding areas
The Health and Safety Consultant will have:
- Previous experience working for a Consultancy or multi-sector services experience
- Relevant Level 6 Health and Safety qualification such as NEBOSH / NCRQ Diploma
- GradIOSH or CMIOSH membership (or be eligible to join)
- Fire Risk Assessment experience across multiple sectors (highly desirable)
- Comfortable with home working and capable of managing own workload
- Strong verbal communication skills, can establish excellent working relationships with clients
- Driving licence - happy to travel regionally
