Your new company
Hays are working with a company who are a well-known manufacturing business within the construction industry with multiple sites across the UK. Your new company are looking to increase their turnover even further as they have had accomplished high turnover within the previous year.
Your new role
In your new role you will be responsible for Health & Safety & Environmental activities across several manufacturing sites. You will work closely with your product manager and reporting directly to your Company Director as well as managing Health & Safety procedures. Your key responsibilities will include ensuring HSE systems are in place, HSE performance is reported, and hazards, risk and site-inspections are assessed. In your role you will be carrying out routine site Health & Safety & Environment audits, as well as coordinating accident and investigation processes.
What you'll need to succeed
You will need to have significant HSE Management experience in a fast-paced manufacturing or construction environment and have a NEBOSH Certification. You will also need detailed knowledge of UK Health & Safety Regulations. In addition to, you will need to have some manufacturing knowledge and skills to be able to lead and perform site and factory audits. You must have a current driving licence.
What you'll get in return
For this role the salary package will be negotiable depending on experience and a 10% bonus. The company will provide you with benefits including a pension scheme, travel allowance or company van and travel paid. You will receive 25 days holiday plus bank holidays and the flexibility to work from home.
