We are working on an exciting Health & Safety opportunity to join a global engineering consultancy as a Health & Safety Consultant. Within the position, candidates will contribute to the growth of the company’s strategic Health & Safety risk management services in the UK and overseas, working across a broad range of sectors and markets with a growing team of consultants. To succeed in this role, you will need to have a background in Health & Safety, either as a consultant or working in industry. You must have the ability to deliver a high standard of work with fine attention to detail, a sound knowledge of UK Health & Safety legislation. This role will be working throughout the South East of England, including projects in and around London.  

The role of the Health & Safety Consultant will be:

Delivering Health & Safety risk management services in a multi-disciplinary project environmentWorking closely with a range of clients, delivering project work (including corporate and regulatory compliance auditing, report authoring, risk assessment, training delivery, ad-hoc advice, and a wide range of other bespoke client solutions)Developing proposals for new client work and supporting on bids/tendersSupporting the wider promotion of Health & Safety services throughout the UK business

The Health & Safety Consultant will have:

3+ years’ experience in a Health & Safety role, either within a Consultancy or in industryA NEBOSH / NCRQ Diploma or equivalent qualification and be TechIOSH / GradIOSH with plans to obtain CMIOSH statusA strong understanding of UK Health & Safety legislation and maintaining compliance Ability to work in a team, but with independence to manage your own workloadA Full clean UK driving licence and be happy travelling
