An industry leading Fit Out and Refurbishment business are looking to bring in a Principal Designer to join their Health & Safety team. The position will involve working with the design and Health & Safety teams, reviewing drawings and advising on the CDM Regulations. The position will be based from their vibrant London office, with occasional site visits to various projects. The ideal candidate will have strong design and architectural skills, with a driven and dynamic nature that enables them to work collaboratively in a fast-growing and modern business.
The Role of the Principal Designer will be to:
Support the production of the Pre-Construction Information PackRegister Projects (Form F10) with the Health & Safety Executive on behalf of the ClientPrepare Health & Safety Files and act as the Principal Designer and Client Advisor Be part of a cohesive team, involved with mentoring and supporting colleagues, to grow and learn togetherAttend Design Team meetings
The Principal Designer will have:
Ideally 5+ years’ experience working as a Principal Designer / CDM Coordinator Either Certified or Incorporated membership of the Association for Project Safety (CMaPS/IMaPS)Extensive experience of the CDM Regulations 2015Strong design and architectural knowledge Experience of AutoCAD and or Revit (desirable)
