Hoople is a private company with public sector shareholders and for the last 10 years, we have been providing business support services to the public sector. We are successful and growing and recently we have increased the portfolio of services to include building maintenance and cleaning and innovative projects in the care sector.

As a people business, the health and safety of our staff is paramount and with a more diverse range of services now is the right time to strengthen our health and safety expertise. We have a small management team, keen to put health and safety at the heart of our decision making and we are looking for a customer focused health and safety professional to help us do that.

To be successful you must be an experienced health and safety advisor with a NEBOSH diploma level qualification and ideally a background of providing H&S advice in some of the services we provide.

You will be experienced in turning your knowledge into practicable and business focused advice and you should have strong training skills, a flexible approach and excellent people skills. In a small people focused business it is essential you have the ability to get along with others and have the influencing skills to effect change.

This is a great opportunity to join a fresh thinking, professional organisation where everyone’s contribution is noticed. We offer 25 days annual leave rising to 30 days after 5 years, staff benefits scheme, company pension, a flexible approach to working and an appraisal process focused on your development and wellbeing.

We expect this role to be a combination on working on site and at home.

To apply please submit your CV with a supporting statement including details of your current salary.
