The University of Reading is looking for someone with biological and scientific expertise and a commitment to good H&S practice in teaching and research. In this interesting role you will be an important part of a dynamic and committed central Health & Safety team, supporting the University’s science Schools. You will develop standards, scrutinise projects, provide specialist advice, maintain key records, inspect and investigate. The post also contributes to the H&S training and audit programmes and the general work of the Health and Safety Services team, especially in emergency preparedness.

•             Relevant biological expertise

•             A commitment to good health & safety in science

•             The ability and motivation to engage positively with a wide range of stakeholders
