Health & Safety Advisor

Your new company
A large world class events & exhibition space in London are looking to increase their in-house safety team by adding an experienced Health & Safety Advisor. The venue hosts over 400 events annually and welcomes millions of visitors annually.

Your new role
In this role you will have an overview of the H&S function working closely with the Service Manager. This role will champion health & safety awareness as well as monitoring all safety related activities including risk assessments, training, inspections and audits. As well as looking at the venue's physical safety you will also be working closely with contractors and exhibitors to ensure all events run smoothly.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful you will need to hold the NEBOSH Certificate as a minimum but ideally the NEBOSH Diploma and have good working knowledge of H&S legislation and its potential impact within this environment. Campus-based experience would be ideal and a track record in managing H&S across a varied estate. You will also need to be a solid team player and be able to make effective decisions.
