We are now looking for an experienced HSE professional to deliver our HSE policy, as well as champion an HSE culture and drive continuous improvement within our manufacturing business in Stowmarket.  As HSE & S Business Partner you will guide managers to develop and implement HSE policies, plans and practices in line with corporate procedures and relevant regulatory requirements. You will assist the business to lead the safety culture and manage hazards as well as support our move from compliance to commitment based safety. We will look to you to identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives that deliver upgraded company performance too. You will also use your HSE expertise to coach and share learning to enhance HSE capability within the business. In addition, you will use your knowledge to contribute to the development of our overall HSE strategy.

A graduate in a relevant discipline you will have a strong understanding of the legislation and compliance needs around HSE issues, and will hold a relevant HSE qualification. Good at communicating with people at all levels you will possess strong interpersonal and problem solving skills as well as the ability to influence managers and departments to take responsibility for HSE standards. Comfortable acting as an agent of change you will be able to demonstrate deep and wide experience of process safety, hazard studies and permit working, coupled with expertise in working with management systems such as ISO 14001 and data management and trend analysis to drive KPIs
