Compliance Surveyor (2 year FTC)

37 hours per week

We are looking for an enthusiastic candidate who is an experienced property compliance professional. Ideally you will hold relevant technical qualifications and have experience, skills and competencies related to compliance to enable you to both set up and maintain the statutory compliance of the Council’s diverse property portfolio.

You will be responsible for all areas of property compliance ensuring the Council’s property portfolio is kept fully compliant with all necessary and statutory regulations/ legislation and good practice.

You will proactively manage all areas of compliance through undertaking inspections, assessments and surveys across all of the Council's assets, in accordance with statutory requirements, the Council's policies and the needs of the service. This includes, visiting sites regularly as determined and accurately record work required or work in progress ensuring that all statutory, regulatory, legal requirements for the health and safety of staff, contractors, customers and the public are met.

You will ensure accurate records and certification are kept to ensure all buildings remain compliant. You will also procure compliance related services including remedial works through creating specifications and manage contractors undertaking compliance services ensuring service levels are maintained and all documentation is received in a timely manner.
