We are partnering exclusively with a leading energy/oil and gas business and currently have an exciting opportunity for a Senior HSEQ Advisor to join their team. This is a great opportunity to join a forward-thinking organisation that has a strong buy-in to health and safety and is committed to developing and supporting their people. Based in Essex, this role offers a lot of variety and the chance to drive a positive health and safety culture across the site and wider company. The ideal candidate will come from a high risk industry such as oil and gas, manufacturing, or energy, and have prior experience of COMAH and process safety environments.
The Role:
- Offer HSEQ support across the site in order to maintain and develop a strong HSEQ culture and compliance
- Carry out audits, inspections, and investigations across the site
- Oversee and support external contractors to ensure that they are trained and compliant against all relevant regulations on site
- Support the senior leadership team, providing reports and advice on HSEQ related matters
- Create and improve documentation such as policies, processes, and procedures
- Deliver toolbox talks and other relevant HSEQ training on site
The Candidate:
- Minimum 4 years’ experience working in a HSEQ role, ideally in a high risk sector, oil & gas preferred
- NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent as a minimum
- NEBOSH Diploma or working towards would be preferred
- An Engineering related degree or qualification would be beneficial
- Process safety knowledge and COMAH experience
