A major joint venture is looking for a Senior Environmental Advisor to join their Environmental and Sustainability team supporting the delivery of the construction and handover phase of the HS2 civils works package.

This is a great opportunity to drive environmental and sustainability strategy on a major project

The Senior Environmental Advisor will be responsible for:

  • Ensure the client and joint ventures environmental policies, processes and statutory requirements are implemented and met
  • Monitor environmental compliance and provide advice across teams
  • Ensure works are in lin with the environmental management system, certified to ISO 14001
  • Drive innovation and continuious improvement in line with BREEAM/CEEQUAL and no-net less biodiversity

    • The successful Senior Environmental Advisor will have:

  • Experience of environmnetal advisory across construction projects, ideally rail, highways or tunneling
  • Environmental degree or equivalent
  • IEMA membership or equivalent
  • Experience of internal auditing
