Your new company

Hays are working together with a home delivery service based in the Midlands to source a Health and Safety Officer to join their growing business.

Your new role

In this role you will be required to create up to date Health and Safety documentation including Risk Assessments and Safe Working Procedures. You will investigate and report near-misses and accidents and ensure that RIDDOR requirements are met. You will create and maintain appropriate Health and Safety KPIs and undertake basic in-house Health and Safety training. You will ensure that the appropriate PPE is issued and maintained and make sure that the appropriate Health and Safety information is provided for new starters

What you'll need to succeed

In order to succeed in this role you will need to be familiar with health and safety related standards and guidelines in the UK and hold a health and safety qualification e.g. NEBOSH certificate / IOSH Managing Safely Certificate
