Mobile Site Administrator

An autonomous role for 2 x Mobile Site Administrators to join a growing civil engineering business.

My client are a growing civil engineering and groundworks business who work with leading house builders and developers throughout the local area.

Your new role

Please note that there are 2 x identical permanent positions with the company covering different sites.

Reporting to an experienced, supportive Health and Safety Manager, this is a great opportunity for an organised administrator to move into a varied, field-based role supporting construction sites in the region. You will meet with your line manager once a week on site, but can contact them via phone / email as required.

This is an autonomous, mobile role where you will visit sites in Portsmouth, Southampton, Winchester, Basingstoke etc. You can either be based from home when not on site, or in one of the local site offices. A company branded vehicle, fuel card, mobile phone and laptop will be provided.

Main purpose of the role:
Main duties are to assist site managers and working supervisors in ensuring statutory site health & safety documentation and records are maintained, client specific procedures with regard to site record keeping are maintained and the requirements of company Health & Safety procedures for the recording of Risk Assessments & Method Statements (RAMS), inspections, monitoring and briefings are complied with. You will also support on-boarding and employee inductions on site.

Working hours are 8am-5pm, Monday-Friday (40 hours + 1 hour lunch).

What you'll need to succeed

You must be an organised person who communicates well with people at all levels, but also be adaptable and willing to work with site managers and supervisors. This position will suit an administrator looking for a more interesting, varied role in the field or someone looking to pursue a career in Health and Safety due to the responsibilities and potential to develop in future if you choose.

You must also hold a full UK driving licence due to the nature of the role and be happy to work autonomously (with support as required). A CSCS card is required to visit the sites, so is an advantage, but this can be provided by the company.
