Hays are working in partnership with a London Housing Trust to source a Health and Safety Officer
Your new role
Your new role will require you to act as the competent person for Health and Safety, providing advice and support to the executive team and managers in order to assist them in achieving compliance with their duties under the Health and Safety at Work Act and supporting regulations. You will co-ordinate health and safety activities across the Trust, identifying health and safety issues and promoting a positive safety culture. Working with departments to develop and implement H&S programs and action plans.
What you'll need to succeed
The client is looking for someone with ideally NEBOSH Diploma however strong candidates with NEBOSH certificate will also be considered you also must be a full member of IOSH, IIRSM or an equivalent institution. With excellent knowledge of up to date UK legislation and law relating to Health and Safety, you will be a confident communicator, able to deliver information effectively and formulate and develop policies and procedures as required
