Head of Health & Safety | Highways | South East UK | £59k - £64k plus benefits
Your new company
This company is one of the UK's leading construction and infrastructure business's delivering major projects throughout the UK.
Your new role
Reporting into the Health & Safety Director you will be responsible for two major projects in the South East. You will oversee a team of 18 and your time will be split between the office in West Midlands, travel to sites and homeworking. You will help to develop business strategy and requirements of the business's health and safety plans. Ensuring that they are delivering against their responsibilities as a major Client organisation, including against CDM requirements. Building their requirements into the procurement stages of tenders and assessments. You will through your team, provide advice and support to senior business leaders on matters affecting delivery of organisational targets. You will support the safe delivery of major projects and provide assurance that our supply chain is delivering against their commitments.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful, you will need to have a NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent. You will need to have Major Projects experience, Client-Side experience and a strategic mind.
