Do you have knowledge of ISO 45001? Have you got experience working within the Water Industry? If so, we have a great opportunity for you to join the Operations team as a Health and Safety (H&S) Adviser!

 

The role

Working within Operations you will assist and provide Health and Safety support across all areas of our water treatment centres, water recycling centres, sewerage networks and pumping stations, supply networks and leakage, including Repair and Maintenance supply and reinstatement, and construction and maintenance activities.

 

Working closely with Operations Managers you will promote Health and Safety awareness and assist with the development and implementation of Health and Safety arrangements and safe systems of work.

 

This will include investigating accidents and near misses, monitoring Health and Safety performance, conducting inspections and audits, and developing and maintaining the ISO 45001 Health and Safety management system.

 

What do I need?

To be successful in this role you will have the following:

  • A relevant Health and Safety qualification, preferably CMIOSH or equivalent
  • Experience of implementing practical Health and Safety measures
  • Knowledge and experience of working in Water Industry Operations
  • Knowledge of ISO 45001
  • Good interpersonal, communication and report writing skills
  • Suitable computer skills
  • Clean full driving licence
