I currently have a fantastic opportunity to join a multi-discipline, industry award winning contractor as a Quality and Compliance Manager on a permanent basis. Employing 700+ staff across the North West, this company work cross sector and in a wide range of industries including Commercial, Retail and Residential. Providing services within Construction and Engineering, my client prides themselves on investing in social responsibility and play a big part in supporting community projects.
Your new role
Reporting into the head of SHEQ, the main purpose of your role is to ensure that quality management systems are compliant with standards. Your key responsibilities will include auditing ISO9001 and 14001, developing quality awareness training, lead on control and monitoring of compliance through internal and external audits and ensure all policies are reviewed regularly. You will also get involved with various company projects and initiatives where relevant and work across different functions of the business to better improve procedures. This role does involved travel across the North West.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be a trained internal auditor and have a minimum of 3 years' experience within a quality role. You must have excellent knowledge of ISO9001 and 14001 whilst being able to demonstrate that you can communicate well at all levels and work competently across varying functions. Experience within construction in a similar role is highly desirable but would also suit candidates from an engineering or rail background.
