A public services consultancy organisation who offer cleaning, catering and health & safety to education and public sector clients in East London are looking to grow their brand new health & safety team with the appointment of a health & safety advisor to support the Head of Health & Safety.

Your new role
Based in East London you will support over 50 schools with audits, compliance, policy development, general advice, incident/accident reporting, investigations of RIDDORs, training and more...You will also help the organisation themselves with internal H&S policies and ISO accreditation's. You will be working regularly with clients, will be travelling to sites around East London, working in head office and also have some options to work from home.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to be considered you will need to hold the NEBOSH Certificate as a minimum but ideally the NEBOSH Diploma or be working towards it. Additional experience with ISO accreditation or ideally an ISO Lead Auditor qualifications is also desirable. Experience with health & safety management within the education or public sector is also essential. You will also need to pass an enhanced DBS clearance.

What you'll get in return
This role comes with a starting salary of £37,783 rising to over £40k with yearly increments. The role also has access to the Local Government Pension Scheme, 23 days holiday plus bank holidays and additional 3 days Christmas closedown. There is also options for flexible working both in terms of hours and home-working.
