Biological Safety Advisor

We have partnered exclusively with a Biomedical Research organisation who are seeking a Biological Safety Advisor to join their team in Central London. The role reports into the H&S Director and will provide them with support and advice whilst maintaining operational and managerial responsibilities.

The Biological Safety Advisor will be responsible for:

• Line managing a small team of Health and Safety professionals
• Developing, reviewing and updating policies, procedures and guidance documents
• Design and deliver safety inductions and training to staff, contractors and visitors
• Operational management of Containment level 3 and 4

The successful candidate will have:

• A degree in a life science or similar discipline
• Minimum Level 3 certificate in H&S such as NEBOSH or NCRQ
• Experience of working with biological agents, including containment levels 
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
