HSEQ Advisor | Nationwide Role | Mechanical& Electrical Engineering | £35-40k |

Your new company

Hays are working in partnership with a leading Mechanical and Electrical Engineering (M&E) contractor to source a HSEQ Advisor. The role will be based out of their Birmingham office with nationwide travel to cover their UK projects.

Your new role

In your role as HSEQ Advisor you will be reporting into the UK HSEQ Manager and it will be your job to ensure that company HSEQ policies and procedures are fully implemented. You will be required to ensure the company is compliant with all relevant legislation and codes of practice including the following ISO Standards (9001:2015,45001 :2018,14001:2015). You will compile RAMS for all projects and ensure adherence to RAMS. You will also investigate and follow up on all non-compliances, accidents incidents and near misses and conduct site inspections weekly. You will ensure internal audits are completed regularly on projects, procedures, and sites an assist in the compilation of monthly, quarterly and annual EHSQ reports including frequent memo's and bulletins.


What you'll need to succeed

* NEBOSH Construction Certificate
* Minimum of one years' experience in Construction industry
* Knowledge of third-party accreditations (ISO 45001:2018, ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 and Safe T Cert).
* Driving license and own transport.
