Health and Safety Manager at English Heritage (East and London Territory)

We are recruiting for a Health and Safety Manager in the East and London. The position can be homeworking or London based (Wood Street office) Other sites and offices will also be considered.  Working with our stunning historic properties, including Kenwood House, Apsley House, Framlingham Castle and Wrest Park, makes for a varied and unique place to come to work, with some of the best views in the country!  No two days are the same and managing safety and risk in this unique and precious environment has its own set of challenges.  Communication, influencing and collaboration are essential skills to embedding a culture of incident prevention and shared responsibility. Working within the Safety and Risk Team, that includes a National Security Adviser, National Safety Compliance Manager and National Fire Safety Manager, we are looking for someone who will be a single point of leadership and advice within the territory, primarily for health and safety but also for fire safety, security and emergency planning.

You will have a NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent) and be a Graduate, or Chartered, Member of the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (or equivalent) with demonstrable evidence of CPD.
