I am working in conjunction with one of my clients to find a Principal Designer / CDM Advisor they are a specialist health and safety consultancy offering a 'one-stop shop' for all your health and safety needs and provide health & safety services not only to the construction industry but to a range of industries in the hotel, education, housing, leisure, retail and commercial sectors

Your new role

The Principal Designer/CDM Advisor is a key individual who will provide CDM consultancy services and undertake CDM duties in line with the Construction (Design & Management) Regulations 2015. In addition, role duties encompass all other health & safety consultancy services and related duties in line with current Management of Health & Safety at Work regulations and associated legislation.


What you'll need to succeed

You'll need to be professionally qualified at Technician, Graduate and/or Chartered level (or equivalent) and holder of appropriate health & safety related qualification(s) eg. NEBOSH Construction/General Certificate level as a minimum. You must also hold Incorporated Membership of the Association for Project Safety (IMaPS) or can attain within 6 months of joining. You must be someone who enjoys coaching, mentoring and nurturing younger talent; personally ambitious and looking for further progression and development towards Associate level and beyond, with aspirations for management team level and perhaps ultimately even harbouring ambitions of managing a H&S business.
