Your new company

Hays are working together with our client one of the UK's leading construction groups, to appoint an Environmental Advisor for the Cambridgeshire region.

Your new role

In this exciting role, you'll deliver continual improvement in their environmental performance. You'll assist in the development of environmental plans. You'll identify and evaluate environmental risks and opportunities and support with environmental training. You'll also attend sites to setup review visits and liaise with our SHE team to identify high risk projects and activities to ensure risk management controls are in place.

What you'll need to succeed

You'll require demonstrable experience working as an Environmental Advisor or similar role and a degree within an Environmental discipline is preferred. You must be an IEMA Practitioner or hold a relevant level of membership from a professional body. You'll also have previous experience of developing documents and procedures that are consistent with ISO 14001 and have a good working knowledge of environmental management systems.
