Health and Safety Advisor | London & South East | £45k
Your new company
Hays are working together with our client an award-winning UK House building group, to appoint a Health and Safety Advisor / for London and the South East.
Your new role
You will be required to monitor and inspect the Health and Safety standards of the Group's building sites ensuring they are operating in full compliance with relevant legislation and the Group's policies and procedures. You will ensure compliance with the requirements of the ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 Management systems at site level. You will also carry out full health, safety, welfare, fire and environmental inspections of the Group's building sites, including site sales areas and offices within their area of responsibility, as deemed necessary, and ensure corrective action has been carried out.
What you'll need to succeed
You should have practical experience of acting as a full-time health, safety and sustainability advisor in the construction/new-build, civil engineering environments (utilities or street works).
Qualifications:
* Relevant experience in the construction/engineering industry
* Full clean driving licence
* NEBOSH/general construction certificate or equivalent health & safety qualification
* IOSH qualification
