Environmental Specialist – 12m FTC – London/North West – Competitive Salary

An energy-related company is looking for an Environmental Specialist to join them on a 12 month FTC, the role will involve integrating and updating their environmental processes, policies and procedures. Reporting into the HSSE Manager you will lead the integration project reviewing existing processes and using these to develop best practice solutions.

The candidate can be based from the clients London office or North West project area.

The Environmental Specialist will be responsible for:

  • Providing support and expertise on environmental processes, procedures and policies
  • Develop, align and implement new environmental policies, procedures and processes
  • Driving environmental compliance
  • Oversee training requirements

    • The successful Environmental Specialist will have:

  • Degree Qualified in relevant environmental/sustainability subject or equivalent
  • IEMA membership
  • Experience of an environmental policies within a chemical/COMAH/ Petrochemical environment
  • Understanding of health and safety requirements in COMAH sites
