Health & Safety Officer
Castles & Coasts Housing Association (CCHA) is recruiting a Health & Safety Officer to support our internal contractor, Castles & Coasts Services (CCS), which delivers services to our properties and estates, including responsive and void repairs, electrical servicing, various compliance checks and associated works, grounds maintenance and communal area cleaning.
This is a new permanent role, which can be based in either Workington or Carlisle, working 36.25 hours per week, and will sit within our existing Health & Safety Team.
Reporting to CCHA’s Health & Safety Manager, you will be responsible for planning, establishing, implementing and maintaining a variety of health and safety initiatives, to assure the highest level of safety for both employees and residents. This is a new and exciting role, which will involve working closely with the CCS Team and will see you acting as the Association’s Competent Person, in the Health & Safety Manager’s absence.
