The Role

Reporting to the Group Health and Safety Employee Engagement Manager you will work closely with the Port Management teams to deliver an effective and proactive Health and Safety service as part of the Port of Tilbury SHE Team.  You will be assigned as SHE Advisor to an operational asset within the Port.

The key objective will be to ensure the ongoing implementation and development of the Company's safety management system.  This will involve advising on safe working practices and the risk assessment process, conducting and supporting safety audits, safety conversations, incident investigations and project work. Candidate Requirements

Excellent communication, interpersonal, administration and IT skills are required to support your promotion of a proactive, positive and professional safety culture. You must also hold the NEBOSH General Certificate.

If successful, you must be prepared to undertake a Graduate Level Health and Safety qualification.
