A global Chemical manufacturing organisation is looking to appoint a proven SHE Manager to lead and develop the strategy across their UK sites. They are seeking candidates who are ideally based in the North West as a preferred location but will also consider people in Yorkshire and the North East.
As SHE Manager you will be accountable for driving change and developing the safety culture within the group. The Role of SHE Manager:
Create, develop and implement the SHE strategy across the UKYou will be a hands-on leader, understanding where you can make an immediate impact and what the long-term goals will beYou will drive cultural change, bringing SHE and Compliance to the forefrontCoaching, managing and developing senior stakeholders will be essential, for you to drive change and enable individuals and the business to be more proactiveEnsure standards are met and continually improved uponBuild strong relationships with key stakeholders, both internally and externallyDevelopment and monitoring of accreditations - ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001/ 45001The SHE Manager candidate:
Experience of working within a Chemical manufacturing environment, ideally COMAH sitesMust have experience of COMAH, ATEX and Process SafetyProven experience of developing Health and Safety strategiesExperience of managing multisite operationsNEBOSH Gen as minimum ideally DiplomaExperience of 14001, 18001 / 45001Proven leadership skills – the ability to engage at all levels is vitalMust have previous team management experienceGet job alerts
