A luxury retail brand with global presence are looking to strengthen their Northern Europe team with the addition of a Health & Safety Manager.
Your new role
This role is responsible for effectively monitoring delivering and executing all H&S policies and legislation for the Northern Europe arm of the business. This includes the UK, Ireland, Netherlands and Scandinavia. You will be working closely with the retail stores and collaborating with the relevant stakeholders to assess hazards, identify risks factors and ensure compliance. You will be based out of the corporate head office in London with travel to sites around the UK and post-COVID restrictions some international travel will also be required. The key responsibilities for the role include developing H&S policies and procedures across retail & corporate, implementing actions from risk assessments, monitoring health & safety management systems, leading engagement with H&S across the workforce, and developing and delivering training.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful, you will need to hold the NEBOSH General Certificate as a minimum and have strong previous experience in health & safety management within a multi-site retail organisation. You will need to be a strong communicator and influencer who can build relationships and adapt flexibly to work within a diverse workforce. Any additional language skills (in addition to English) would also be beneficial.
What you'll get in return
In return you will get a salary of around £55,000 + a bonus of around 10%. There is also a benefits package including employee discount on brands and pension scheme and they have a hybrid working pattern.
