Health, Safety, Environment, Quality (HSEQ) and Contracts Coordinator
Salary: £20,000 - £25,000 + Benefits
Location: Maidstone, Kent

Irwin & Colton have been engaged by one of the UK's leading highways infrastructure and services companies to secure a Health, Safety, Environment, Quality (HSEQ) and Contracts Coordinator.

The main focus of the role is to provide coordination, administration and support to the Health and Safety department, and the commercial/operations team. The role will report directly to the HSEQ Manager.

Responsibilities for the HSEQ and Contracts Coordinator will include:

• To support the administration of health and safety management systems across the organisation, including managing contract-related documentation
• Support the HSEQ and Commercial teams with the collation of documentation required for high quality tender submissions
• To document lessons learned throughout the contract process and propose continual improvement activity accordingly
• Coordinate and communicate health and safety activities and improvements across the business
• Support the HSEQ Manager with data collection, accurate reporting and analysis of metrics relating to health and safety performance

The successful HSEQ and Contracts Coordinator will have:

• Degree level education (ideally from Quantity Surveying, H&S Management, Construction Management or related subject)
• Ideally previous experience in an administration or coordinator type position
• Any experience with management systems or ISO standards (an advantage)
• Experience in health and safety, construction or a related industry (advantage)
• Excellent organisation, communication skills and strong attention to detail
