Divisional HSE Director - North West
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join an established multidisciplinary consultancy as a Divisional HSE Director. This is an internal facing role, leading a division on H&S strategy, ensuring compliance across business units. Reporting into the Global Health and Safety Director, this role will see you working within customer support services, looking after 25,000 staff both in the UK and internationally.
** This role will require travel across the North of England**
The Role:Managing Health, Safety, Environmental and Wellbeing requirements for the division in line with group strategyWorking with Directors, Managers, and staff, advising in all areas of HSEWork to improve HSE standards across the division, developing resources and implementing and achieving HSE and Wellbeing objectivesAudit to ensure Group HSE legislation is adhered to and ensure all business units are updated on changes in legislation and policy
The Candidate:Experience working at a strategic level in a HSE role, covering multiple locationsExperience of operating at a senior level within HSE risk management, within large scale organisations with a similar staff size (25,000 staff across UK and Worldwide) Qualified to NEBOSH Diploma level or equivalentCMIOSH (GradIOSH will also be considered)Fire Safety experience desired Happy to travel up to nationwide, covering multiple site locations
