We are looking to appoint two Chartered members of IOSH, with experience of providing occupational health and safety advice at a senior level. You will ensure consistent processes are in place for the management of people and assets across the organisation, to ensure regulatory compliance and reduction of risk for either our College of Health, Wellbeing and Life Sciences (1fte) or the College of Business, Technology and Engineering (0.5FTE jobshare)

You will work with a range of professional service Directorates and assume responsibility for developing and implementing strands of the services safety strategy, working in partnership with members of the service to drive continual improvement and implement these aims.

You must have significant experience of leading a Health and Safety service area/ specific function, contributing to the strategic development of the service and knowledge and experience of health and safety legislation and best practice.
