Project Health & Safety Manager

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Health & Safety Manager to one of the leading specialist principal contractors to work across a variety of London based projects. Ideally seeking candidates that have experience with full life cycle projects and previously worked in a principal contractor environment. Candidates will be considered from both a construction and civil engineering background for the position but must show knowledge of all aspect of a project.

The Role:

• Lead, advise and coach all personnel with the implementation of the company Health & Safety Management Systems 
• Strong communication across all levels within the organisation
• Assist in the implementation of the UK Health & Safety strategy across projects 
• Assist in investigations or accidents, near misses, dangerous occurrences and other incidents when required 
• Provide guidance and mentoring to the site teams on Health & Safety issues 

The Candidate:

• Minimum 4 years’ experience working in Health & Safety, civil engineering, or construction background 
• Strong hands-on knowledge in working on the full life cycle of the project
• NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent
• Grad IOSH, working towards CMIOSH 
• Previous experience working for a Principal Contractor would be a distinct advantage 
• Enthusiastic professional who is always looking to grow and progress in their SHE career
