I am currently working on a unique opportunity with one of the UK's leading companies, who are looking to appoint a proven HSE Manager at their brand-new manufacturing site in Leicestershire. This is a rare opportunity to be the lead on this brand new large facility, you will be responsible for developing systems and procedures, whilst driving a strong safety culture across this new site.  

The Role:

  • Support and lead on various site HSE matters
  • Build relationships with key stakeholders across the site, promoting the development of a positive culture and best practice
  • Ensure all H&S training needs are fulfilled
  • Audit site-based management systems to ensure full compliance
  • Develop and run HSE workshops and meetings

    • The Candidate:

  • Previous experience within an HSE role within a manufacturing environment
  • Ability to strongly influence various internal stakeholders
  • Experience of PUWER & LOLER is preferable
  • Experience of ISO 14001 & 45001 is desirable
  • Ideally NVQ level 5 Diploma in Health & Safety/ National Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety/ Diploma in Applied Health and Safety (or equivalent)
