Health & Safety Manager

A leading manufacturing organisation is looking to appoint a proven Health and Safety Manager to lead and develop the strategy across their site near Milton Keynes. As the Health and Safety Manager you will be accountable for maintaining and developing systems, driving change and developing the safety culture.

The Role of Health and Safety Manager:

Create, develop and implement the Health and Safety strategy across the site, working closely with senior leadersYou will drive cultural change, bringing Health and Safety to the forefront Coaching, managing and developing will be essential, for you to drive change and enable individuals and the business to be more proactiveEnsure standards are met and continually improved uponBuild strong relationships with key stakeholders, both internally and externally

Occasional travel to some installation sites, which are mainly in London

The Health and Safety Manager candidate

Experience of working within a fast-paced manufacturing environment, ideally within Engineering or Steel / MetalsKnowledge of ISO 45001 & 14001NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent qualificationProven leadership skills – the ability to engage at all levelsCommitted to continuous improvement and operational excellence

Any previous experience of wellbeing is advantageous
