This expanding company are now looking for their first HSE Manager. Previously relying on consultants, they have decided that the time is right to appoint a full time Safety professional.
Operating exclusively with in the M25, they have lots of fibre installation projects on the go at one time. These mainly consist of excavation and reinstating highways for their telecom clients.
A background in utilities and a very good understanding of the New Roads and Streetworks act would be a distinct advantage. An ability to effectively communicate the safety message to small gangs working remotely will be an essential skill.
A key task will be to get involved with the maintenance of their recently acquired Quality Management Systems. Roughly 50% of time will be spent in the office and 50% on sites.
