A charity sector client of mine is looking to appoint into a Health & Safety Officer role. They have an excellent international reputation and significantly positively impact the lives of families.
Your new role
This role is based in Surrey and will support the Health & Safety Manager and Senior Health & Safety Officer with ensuring health & safety compliance for the whole organisation as well as inspection, risk assessments, training and providing guidance/advice. Looking after a workforce including volunteers of over 100 people as well as users of the charity, this role will be diverse and involve working closely with multiple stakeholders and services.
What you'll need to succeed
You will need to hold at least the NEBOSH Certificate (or equivalent) with practical experience in a H&S role. Additional skills and qualifications in Fire or Food Safety would also be advantageous. My client is looking for someone with good communication skills, who can work well with employees of all levels and is confident in completing risk assessments, inspections and delivering training. You will also need to undergo a DBS.
